Risdall Reports 173% Increase in Size of Big Ideas
Since Office Move
Local Agency Develops Even Better Campaigns and Websites NEW BRIGHTON, MN - - Risdall announced today the agency's move to a new office - the Risdall Building. The significantly larger, custom designed office space is now located at 550 Main Street in southern sunny New Brighton, just 2.7 miles south of the old office. RAA relied on architect Gary Vogel of BKV Group to design the building. As one of the most wired agencies in the world, the company required over $30,000 worth of wire alone to install their computer and telecommunications systems. In addition to underground parking, the building touts an upgraded HVAC system to ensure optimum temperature requirements for all electronic equipment, plus three tiers of security for the agency's server rooms. The 38,900-sq. ft. Risdall Building is part of a master brownfield development called Main Street Village. (Contact Manager John Ordway of Stony Lake Properties for space leasing information.) Risdall's new space has approximately 173% more square footage than its previous buildings combined. "In our new building, we're able to bring the entire staff together in one space," says Chairman and Chief Executive Officer John Risdall. "It really promotes teamwork for even better campaigns, websites and integrated marketing efforts for our clients. What has always been unique at Risdall is the culture of total team cooperation - the seamless integration of marketing, creative and web savvy is what made us number one among Minnesota web developers and garnered us clients on a national and worldwide basis. We've always taken a holistic approach to our clients' marketing needs, surrounding brands with 360° of integrated marketing." Executive Creative Director Kevin O'Callahan adds, "We believe there is a direct correlation between the increase in our office space and the even bigger ideas we've developed since moving here." He refers to an unofficial internal study that measured an increase of 173% in big idea size and staff brain capacity, since the office move in early February. Never having had a Main Street of their own before, Risdall was awarded a new street by the City of New Brighton in conjunction with the move. City officials reportedly created the new Main Street for the new Risdall building in recognition of the agency's status as Minnesota's largest web design firm and sixth largest advertising agency, according to issues of CityBusiness and Adweek. The company is also the 23rd largest web developer in the country, according to Adweek's February 14, 2000 issue. Risdall Advertising is a full-service agency based in New Brighton, Minnesota. RAA is the only Minnesota agency ranked in the top 50 US web developers in the June 2000 issue of Adweek. Listed by City Business as Minnesota's largest interactive agency (6/99) and sixth largest advertising agency (12/2000), RAA continues to expand its client base and its capabilities. In 2000, RAA billed $120 million, nearly a 30% increase in billings over 1999. For more information, please contact: John Risdall, Chairman Risdall Advertising 2475 15th St. N.W.
