This Minnesota native likes the metro's western suburbs. He grew up in Edina and now lives all the way over in Tonka Bay, near Lake Minnetonka. He supplemented this distance-deficiency by traveling with a rock band for 16 years.
For Rick, his hobbies have turned into jobs. Which means he's having fun, "I've always had a job where they paid me for doing what I love - first playing guitar, and now building websites." After college, he played guitar professionally with The Rockin' Hollywoods. He started dabbling with computers in his free time. So like many techies, Rick's computer know-how is mostly self-acquired. Currently, he spends his free time with his sons, coaching Little League and volunteering with Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.
His "greatest parents in the world" still live in the area, and his large extended family gathers for reunions every year. Rick and his wife and their two boys, Brandon and Mitchell, attend the reunions regularly.
The Rockin' Hollywoods appeared as The Wedding Band in the movie "Feeling Minnesota" with Cameron Diaz and Keano Reeves (who tried out Rick's guitar)
