
Born in Appleton, WI as an only child who lived under the constant "reminder" of: "We brought you into this world - we can always take you out."
Raised in Hendersonville and Gallatin, Tennessee, then it was back to Appleton to begin "my awkward teenage years" amidst the cheese, Packers, cow tipping and tractor pulling ("OK, I exaggerate-we were all actually fairly normal.")

After completing her degree at the U of M – Twin Cities and interning at Risdall summer of 2006, Rachel decided to join the Risdall team full-time.
Rachel was featured in a Country music video for a political candidate in TN who repeatedly sang: "giddy up a'Gooooogle Eye". At that point, she decided to walk away from show business. No, he did not win the election.
Shooting at the wrong basketball hoop - twice - in the same game.
Losing her guinea pig, hamster, and Mouse Trap game - all in one childhood.
Going to cheer camp for a summer.
Surviving a week in the Boundary Waters (carrots + 40° + rain = brush with reality.)
Running the 2006 Grand Rapids Marathon in MI.
Arriving in Europe to hear the Director of the school proclaim, "Rachel, you are going to be writing a cookbook, on chocolate."
Exploring Italy with her mother and grandmother
