Before joining RAA, Nicole was already accustomed to major multi-tasking. She juggled three jobs and college, while still managing to spend time with her family and poodle, Marvin.
Nicole lived in Tokyo from age 4 until 13, while her mother worked as a teacher there. "That city is huge, filled with people and the smell of smoke!" During her experience there, Nicole really learned the importance of respecting formal processes and communication styles. "Nonverbal signs are a very important part of communication." She also brought back with her a love of rice and the habit of always taking her shoes off!
When her mother's second grade classroom wanted a technology update, Nicole wrote and designed a website for the students' parents to view. She created it so the children's artwork could be accessed, along with information for the parents. "I liked designing the website so that it had a fun, child-friendly look!" The website was a huge success and got rave reviews from the parents.
Nicole was part of the winning team in a contest for an Amtrak Advertising Campaign simulation. As part of her role, she had to develop marketing strategies and write a proposal. "I was the Account Executive on the project, which was my first real taste of account management."
A self-described shoe addict, Nicole loves shoes and shopping. She also enjoys running and taking Marvin to the dog park.
Nicole describes herself as patient, determined and funny. She is very dedicated to the advertising industry, and says, "I wanted to be in advertising since I was 12!"
