As the Account Executive for TC Originals, Julie coordinates programs and events for a coalition of 30 independent restaurants in the metro area. A natural problem solver and self-professed "people person," Julie is the go-to person who helps put all the pieces together for events including The Taste of the NFL. A tough job? You bet. It's no piece of cake having to eat all that gourmet food and mingling with celebrities like Daunte Culpepper, but Julie never complains.
"I love sports...absolutely love 'em. Summer means wakeboarding, Fall finds me watching football (Go Vikes!), Winter is all downhill (skiing that is), and Spring is the time I start counting down the days until we open our family cabin in northern Minnesota. It's a vicious cycle."
Stays together - all five of them - in a motor home, criss-crossing the United States and getting bumper stickers from such prestigious destinations as the Football, Basketball and Baseball Halls of Fame!
"I am really intrigued by handwriting and fonts. People have always commented on my own unique handwriting... so I have turned that love of writing into a desire to learn more about fonts."
As a mere slip of a girl, 12-year old Julie won top honors at a piano recital. She still takes requests on occasion (as long as you ask for the German Dance.)
Imagine living in, attending school all the way through college, and then starting your career - all within the same zip code! Impossible except in the Twilight Zone? Actually, it's very possible...in the 55112 zone! In fact, Julie may be the first of her kind to accomplish such a feat. Sadly, she recently broke this amazing streak, after her recent marriage (the "K" is not silent, by the way), and subsequent move to (gasp!) 55076."
A passion for client service and peanut M&Ms. "I ate almost a whole jar my first day. But then, anyone who's been to our office would understand why!"
