Before joining Team Risdall, Heather worked for the University’s Department of Recreational Sports as a membership intern.
Besides her extensive academic acumen, Heather possesses excellent people skills and brings a passion for life, success and growth to everything she does.
Heather cites her proudest moment as being on track to become the first person in her family to graduate college – all at the tender age of just 21.
Reeses. Like Romeo and Juliet, Marc Anthony and Cleopatra and Britney and K-Fed (OK, maybe not that last one) the relationship between chocolate and peanut butter is undeniable.
“In my spare time, I love watching and playing all kinds of sports (I used to play lacrosse for the U team) wine tasting (only after I turned 21), perfecting my pool game and being with my biggest supporters – my family and friends.”
“Most people don’t know that I could probably sing the lyrics to any song I’ve ever heard. It’s kind of spooky how many I remember.”
At the University, Heather created a customer service training program for the Department of Recreation Sports and delivered it to roughly 75 of her peers.
On another occasion, Heather cites her ability to “keep it together” while running a youth sports camp with about one hundred 3-5 year old attendees (while the regional GM watched over her shoulder) as a pretty big deal.
On a lighter note, Heather also once won tickets from KDWB to meet P. Diddy (that’s Sean “Puffy” Combs, rap artist, record producer and clothing line mogul for those of you who are either completely unhip, over 30 or both.) “They played me on the radio and it was hilarious!”
