Gabe studied Computer Science at the University of Minnesota for 2 years. He also has an Associates Degree in Multimedia from the Art Institute of Seattle.
Before Risdall, Gabe worked for the Seattle office of Fitch as the web developer for over four years. Interestingly enough, they changed both the company name and Gabe's title four times while he was there.
Gabe has worked extensively with Flash for the last two years and has developed web sites with PHP, ASP, XML, XHTML and LMNOP (OK, we made that last one up.)
Depending on whether you ask Gabe or his wife, it's neck and neck between his wedding day and performing at Drum Corps International finals at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, WI.
M & M's
Gabe enjoys playing guitar and trumpet, as well as spending massive amounts of time playing World of Warcraft.
I am a huge marching band nerd.
While working for Fitch, I was responsible for the development of virtually all digital projects ranging from small email templates to large corporate sites.
I helped with the development of a sales presentation tool for a major shipping company that is still in use by over 1000 employees. The sales tool allows the sales people to create, upload and share custom presentations, as well as keep their existing presentation data up to date by downloading from a central location within the company's network.
In addition to the sales tool, I developed an administrative site that helped the sales managers keep track of whether their employees' sales tools were up to date and to create new content to download.
