Frank wears a lot of hats at the agency. His focus is on brand strategy-centric, integrated marketing. He works to develop brand visions that leverage marketing vehicles in ways that take seemingly complex interactive and advertising requirements and breaks them down into quantifiable work efforts. Thus the clients make the choices, and direct the pace of the implementation based on needs and resources.
He designs processes, creates business and product models, and builds brand strategies for products and businesses. Having been a producer/director and project manager in a variety of mediums including photography, video, film, multi-image, application development, and web development, he has an appreciation for what it takes to get things done and how to get the most from every dollar.
His experiences in developing and producing large corporate meeting and events, major web systems, training programs and integrated marketing initiatives has cultivated unique insights in communications, political processes, and interconnectivity of businesses across multiple industries.
Before joining RAA, Frank was the Vice-President of Martin/Bastian Interactive, a division he developed after 6 years as a Producer/Director/Photographer/Writer and later, became the Director of Production.
Produced, directed and staged shows for Pillsbury Green Giant, Carlson/Wagonlit Travel, Norwest Banks, USWest, and Aveda, involved orchestrating a wide array of moving parts like business theatre, set and stage design, AV/video development and projection, pyrotechnics, laser shows and special effects lighting.
Frank started a consulting company and spent several years developing a curriculum and interactive materials for survivors of traumatic brain injury, after working in the University of Texas Medical Branch’s Biomedical Communications division.
He developed an award winning web-based training and evaluation system for physicians and nurses in the field of chronic wound management. Since, he has built numerous e-commerce, training, publishing, intra/extranets, corporate and marketing web sites for B2B and B2C applications.
He also led a design team in developing a web front-end for Honeywell’s Atrium product, a global enterprise application for building systems management and worked to develop sales materials and marketing web sites for Atrium and its sister Portico. He has directed teams in Web/IT systems integration, HR systems, Web hosting and other technical endeavors.
In his spare time you will find him taking care of his family and his 110 year old farmhouse north of the Twin Cities.
