Iowa State University – Ames, Iowa
B.S. – Management Information Systems
Before accepting the offer to join the RMG/RAAi team, Björn was a full time student at Iowa State. While there, he interned at a company titled Kingland Systems, a small financial company, as a data research analyst in 2007. According to Björn, “While Iowa isn’t nearly as bad as most people make it out to be, I was ready to come back to “civilization” after graduation.”
“I’ve had a strong interest in web administration, development (back-end and front-end) and graphic design for several years, and hope to contribute these skills to Risdall and its clients. Through the computer gaming website that I run, and other freelance projects that I’ve worked on, I also have experience with content management systems, advertisement management systems, search engine optimization, public relations, and several other web-related services and technologies.”
Björn cites receiving a 2006 John and Mary Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Scholarship and graduating from Iowa State as two of his proudest achievements.

Björn would like to attempt to write a novel sometime in the future. Stay tuned…

“While in college, I installed a new content management system and implemented many SEO techniques, which more than doubled my website’s traffic in less than a year.”
