- Andrea led a public relations campaign surrounding the inaugural Halloween Candy Buy-Back program for three local dental offices. The phenomenal press coverage her team provided resulted in a total collection of nearly 800 pounds of candy for local Ronald McDonald House Charities and Second Harvest Heartland. In addition, Metro Dentalcare received and scheduled dental appointments for several new patients. The program was so successful, the national chain is going to adopt the program for 2009.
- In 2007, the BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota launched its Destination 2025 program to outline Minnesota's current position and provide forward-looking recommendations to ensure Minnesota's position in the global life sciences market. Andrea provided a Star Tribune reporter with an exclusive preview of the report, as well as facilitated an on-site interview with BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota CEO, Dale Wahlstrom. The article successfully articulated the importance of investing in the future of biosciences in Minnesota and brought attention to the important role the BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota plays in this process. To date, the report continues to be referenced in bioscience industry articles in the Star Tribune.
